1. In our Zoom online art and painting class Wednesday morning February 3 at 10AM, we’re off to Venice by webcam. How exciting is that?!
The best way to get to grips with painting is to work from life. So, here’s what we’ll do: There’s an ‘Always On’ webcam sitting outside the Hotel Filú pointed directly at the Ponte delle Guglie. People are walking around, the canal boats are moving, birds are flying. The weather may change, the light could be fleeting; who knows? Yesterday, a couple of lads were larking about by the bridge for a few minutes. It’s the closest we’ll get to en plein air painting at the moment. I hope you can come with me.
2. My apologies to anyone who tried to join our private community Facebook page. I had the settings wrong. That’s fixed now, so do please try again.
If you have any problems securing your place, please just email or call me on 086 247 0737 and we can sort out any teething problems.
I hope to see you all there.
Paint oils, paint small, paint often.
