Calliphora Vomitoria: Latin Class. I’m nostalgic for my schooldays, long ago in a different world. I was lucky enough to get into Isleworth Grammar School, which taught a classical syllabus, complete with Latin (I got in by the skin of my teeth and because my two older brothers were already there, it must be said). Of course, I treated the whole time as a massive chore and did my best not to do any work. I still consider myself to have been very very lucky. That’s not what this is all about though.
