Date: July 11 2021 Sunday Landscape Painting Kildare
I’ll be holding an en plein air painting day at Hazelhatch on the Dublin/Kildare border (see map below). Hopefully, there’ll be fine weather and lovely canal boats to paint. The Hazelhatch pub is right at the bridge though they don’t do food, so bring sandwiches for your lunch. I’ll demonstrate a quick study in the morning and explain the process and then you can choose your own spot and start your own painting. Meet at the Hazelhatch canal bridge at 10AM. Finish at 4.30PM. 1 hour for lunch.
Hazelhatch is right on the Grand Canal, halfway between Celbridge and Newcastle. See map below.
Parking is wherever you can find it. This is of course weather dependent and if it’s too inclement, we’ll have to cancel/postpone and you’ll get a full refund. If you wish you can carry it over until the next event. We’ll have to play that by ear.
