Still Life Study with Silver

Glorious impasto!

This is the demonstration that I painted for my students at today’s class. I have to admit, I enjoyed it thoroughly even though it’s far from the style that I’m used to. I love the chaotic impasto application of the buttery oil paint; it’s gong to take an age to set even though it took just 30 minutes to paint.
