Demonstration paintings for my art class
This week, I was demonstrating how to paint a Mediterranean seascape scene in a Claude Monet impressionist painting style. I used a lovely photograph by Posidonia on the Pixabay website, (so thank you!) Each one took roughly 40 minutes.
I changed the colour scheme for the second one just in order to get across to my students that the colour doesn’t matter as much as the tone.
They’re painted in oils on A4 canvas-textured oil painting paper. It’s on auction at the link below.
