You can commission a portrait. I don’t do straight ‘face-on’ portraiture. It doesn’t really interest me – there are plenty of other people who do that. I like to put the subject in the context of their interests and achievements. It’s novel, and has a longer-lasting value.
It’s a process. I interview you about the subject and get as much information together as possible. I then present a few ideas to you and you choose. There’s a process of refinement and then the finished portrait is handed over. Framing is an extra cost but I can organise it for you if needed. Payments are split into three stages:
1. Initial idea/sketch. 2. Agreement on idea and finalised sketch. 3. Delivery
