A demonstration for my art class
A few weeks ago, my students and I spent a week studying the working style of the master impressionist artist, Paul Cézanne. I painted this as a demonstration study at my art class; of course it’s difficult to pack in all the beautiful brushwork, innovation and courageous aspects of a Cézanne into an A4 size canvas but the exercise was about loosening up and not being dragged backwards by your photographic reference.
